Happy Valentine's Day

As Founder Region continues to “Bee the Dream!,” planning for the 2023 Founder Region Conference is well underway. Our 100-year anniversary conference in Oakland was canceled due to the pandemic, but fortunately we are able to celebrate in Oakland this year. Mark your calendars for May 5th through 7th as we gather in-person at the Oakland Marriott City Center. Details to follow soon.  

We are now in the District judging stage of the Live Your Dream Awards. Thank you to all the clubs that have supported our mission of providing women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. You are helping many women reach their full potential and live their dreams. Thank you as well to those clubs who continue to give our Violet Richardson Award. You are helping girls reach out in their communities and give of themselves. They are learning the importance of service at an early age.

Remember that February is “Fun for Fellowship” month. Be sure to sign up and Zoom in on Sunday, February 5th for a great time as we raise funds for Fellowship.
During this region-wide event, you will:

• Hear from a past Fellowship recipient and get an update on her research and career.
• Learn how you can support Fellowship during the month of February
• Play Fellowship Trivia Bingo and win prizes
• Have a chance to win a Fellow if contributions add up to $1,000 during event.
• Be entered into a drawing to win a Fellow at Conference, just by attending!
