Today marks the beginning of the holiday season; and whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, or the Winter Solstice, you are most likely preparing for celebrations with family and friends. Our Soroptimist clubs are doing extra service during the holiday season and we can see our work making a difference in the lives of women and girls in our local communities, but we need to see the big picture. Worldwide, women and girls face challenges such as poverty, abuse, and gender discrimination. They are often forced to put aside their education and career goals. But we can choose to change that.

Consider making Soroptimist your "Cause of Choice" in a big way. There are many ways to give at the federation level of our organization: monthly giving to the Laurel Society, Dream Big Campaign contributor, Club Giving and, today, during #Giving Tuesday.
