District V Meetings Go Virtual

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions in Hawaii & Guam, the District V Meetings and Leadership Training will be held virtually on Zoom. Feel free to attend either meeting that works within your schedule. The Virtual Call is attached for distribution to your members. We are saddened that we can not meet in-person but look forward to seeing you online!

District V Leadership Training

The 2020-2022 Fellowship Board hopes that all members from District V will attend the District V meetings (either Honolulu and/or Guam) via Zoom.  Our program will include a past Fellowship award recipient from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, presentation of new District V Fellows or Fellows who are leveling up and a brief update of what is new with Fellowship.  

Our basket and Fellows raffles will be conducted in a similar fashion as they were last year due to the pandemic.  District V Fellowship Director Denise Ridge and President Cheryl will meet via Zoom a few days before the District V meetings and, using a Number Randomizer cell phone app, will select the winning numbers for the club baskets and the Fellows (one for each $1,000 raised from District V number sales).  Because the District Meeting will be on Zoom, no numbers can be sold at the District Meetings so be sure to make your number purchases on or before the deadline date of October 9.   Please scan and email to Director Denise a copy of the completed log along with a copy of your club check by October 9.  U.S. mail the hardcopy of the log and the club check to her.    Please make your baskets light and small (think jewelry, gift cards, other small items of a value of $75.00)  so that they can be easily mailed to the person winning your club's basket.  Clubs from throughout District V will be included in the same raffle drawing.  Winners will be announced at the end of the Guam District Meeting.

We will not be able to conduct a Fellowship Sales Table in District V, but are working on alternative plans which, once made, will be announced.
