#GivingTuesday

Today marks the beginning of the holiday season; and whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, or the Winter Solstice, you are most likely preparing for celebrations with family and friends. Those traditions make look somewhat different this year during COVID, but the sentiment is the same: giving thanks for our many blessings and giving to those in need in our community.  Our Soroptimist clubs are doing a wide variety of service in their communities this holiday, which brings about goodwill and awareness, so I thank you for your numerous acts of kindness and generosity.

Today is also #GivingTuesday, which is a worldwide campaign launched in the spirit of generosity to empower the causes we care about. This year has been hard on many of us, yet we still have so many reasons to stay inspired and so much to be thankful for. As a Soroptimist member, let’s give women and girls a reason to be thankful too, by investing in their dreams this #GivingTuesday!  Join millions of others who are taking action today!
