District Meeting Recap

The 2021 District Meetings have come to a close. Thank you to everyone who attended in-person or virtually as we came together for the first time in 18 months. As we raised funds for Founder Region’s Identifying Project - Fellowship, many attendees enjoyed hearing from past Fellowship recipients.  It is so inspiring to hear how our financial support helped these women achieve their advanced degrees and career of their dreams.  You can view past Fellowship recipient Carolyn Kieran's video here, and be sure to show it at one of your club meetings so other members can learn about the impact our Fellowship program.

Governor Kris shared the “Global Impact” of our organization at the international, federation, region, club and member level to remind members that together, we are making a difference locally and around the world. Our Pillar Chairs shared important information related to Fundraising, Membership, Programs, and Public Awareness and how your clubs can access new resources to be successful. The Directors talked about Generational Differences and how working with members from different age groups can be navigated, so all members are valued and empowered.  We highlighted the new “Dream Big Campaign” and how you can help achieve our Big Goal of investing in the dreams of half a million women and girls by 2031, which is four times the number of women and girls we currently reach.  To learn more, watch this inspiring video or visit the Dream Big website for more information.
