Our Vision: "Women and girls have the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and live their dreams."

Get Ready for District Meetings

DISTRICT I & II – Oct 3, 2026
DISTRICT  III & IV – Oct 10, 2026
DISTRICT  V – Oct 17, 2026

As we approach fall, it's time to focus on our District Meetings. Our annual District Meetings are a great opportunity to dig deeper into the Soroptimist mission. Whether you're a brand-new member or a seasoned Soroptimist, there is something for everyone. It's a time to meet members from other clubs, renew friendships, and, as lifelong learners, keep up to date with our mission.

I'll be opening the meeting by speaking on the global impact of Soroptimist, and Soroptimist by the Numbers. These are real numbers behind our Big Goal of investing in 500,000 women and girls by 2031. I'll share where we stand on that goal and why every club, no matter its size, is essential to reaching it.

A Timely Directors' Program
The Directors have planned a timely topic: how AI can be used to make the most of your limited time and help your club work more efficiently. This Directors' program is sure to give you another tool to use.

Five Pillars, Five Presentations
We now have five Pillars, and the Pillar chairs, or their committee reps, will be delivering the SIA-prepared presentations.

Education: "From Learning to Leadership" We will get some information on our newest Pillar and an important survey for the members to help SIA tailor the pillar to meet individual needs.

Fundraising: "Power in Collaboration" We'll learn how to build strong partnerships that fuel fundraising: spotting partners your club already has, knowing what to offer in return, and turning those relationships into support.

Membership: "Recruiting, Retaining, & Engaging Across Generations" This session tackles bringing in and keeping members across a wide age range, with practical strategies for recruitment, retention, and engagement that every club can put to use.

Programs: "Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls" Our Program Chair, Governor-elect Kristal Koga, will show clubs how to start a new Dream It, Be It project or expand one you already have to reach even more girls.

Public Awareness: "Beyond Traditional Outreach" This presentation will be interactive, an idea exchange where members share what's worked to promote their clubs, with the best ideas collected and shared federation wide.

Fellowship Update
The Fellowship board will be on hand to give you an update on what we can expect from Fellowship and how you can join this signature project, as a Fellow or by leveling up. Remember to bring a basket from your club for the drawing.

A Chance to Fundraise, Too

Some clubs use the District Meeting as an opportunity to raise some funds for their own club, so come prepared! If this interests your club, fill out the Club Fundraising & Sales Promotion Registration form found in the Call.

It's a time to be inspired, engaged, and excited about all of the great work we can accomplish together. I hope to see you there!
Governor Jackie
